My name is Joe Underwood, I currently run a small learning academy at Miami High School in Miami, Florida called ARTEC….Arts Related Technology for Entertainment Careers. We have classes in Television Production (with a daily, live newscast), MovieMaking, and a unique class in Florida high schools, Entertainment Law. I have been teaching at Miami High since 1984.
While in Japan, I will be bringing back some educational video that my students will use to research the various topics introduced by a “character” who I think will be named “Kenny Kaizen.” To get an idea of the type of reports Kenny Kaizen will be using to introduce the wonders of Japanese culture, take a look at the link to another character I came up with while in the Galapagos Islands with the Toyota International Teacher Program.
